Happy New Year 2026!
We are pleased to announce the publication of the year-end 2025 issue in celebration of the New Year.
This issue marks the final volume in which I serve as Chief Editor, upon the completion of my three-year term in this position. Throughout my tenure, I have undertaken sustained efforts to advance the journal from a national-level publication (TCI Tier 1), with its final issue published in December 2022 under the title The Thai Journal of Public Administration, to its current edition as The Journal of Public Administration, Public Affairs, and Management. The journal is continually making progress toward our goal of meeting the Scopus journal selection criteria.
This advancement required substantial and systematic development, including the transition of the journal’s language of publication from Thai to English, the renaming of the journal from The Thai Journal of Public Administration to The Journal of Public Administration, Public Affairs, and Management, and the consistent expansion of the number of articles published per issue from the original five.
I wish to extend my profound appreciation to the researchers, scholars, and contributors who entrusted the journal with their work. I am also sincerely grateful to the reviewers whose rigorous and insightful evaluations ensured the academic quality, methodological soundness, and scholarly value of the published articles, thereby contributing to the advancement of social scientific knowledge.
I further extend my deepest gratitude to the members of the editorial board, the journal committees, and the journal staff for their professionalism, commitment, and invaluable support, which collectively enabled the journal’s continued development and progression to a higher academic standing.
I would also like to welcome the new Chief Editor, Associate Professor Dr. Boon-Annan Phinaitrup, who previously served as Editor of the Journal of Public and Private Management. Her extensive editorial experience will be invaluable in supporting the journal’s continued development, academic advancement, and future success.
All the best,
Anchana NaRanong
